Our Purpose

Yên Stays was created to provide calm, reliable housing for the people who care for others.
Traveling nurses, hospital staff, and patient families deserve a place that feels steady during stressful seasons. Our mid-term housing is designed to be quiet, fully furnished, and move-in-ready so guests can focus on healing, working, or supporting a loved one.

Our Story

Yên Stays is shaped by our family history.
One of our founders comes from a Vietnamese refugee family who rebuilt their lives in the United States with the help of communities who offered safety and shelter. His sister later became a traveling nurse — someone who now provides that same care to others wherever she’s needed.

This project brings those two experiences together:
the search for refuge, and the work of caring for others.

We created Yên Stays to offer the same sense of stability his parents once needed, and the calm, reliable environments his sister looks for when she’s on assignment. It’s our way of giving back to the people who heal, support, and carry so much.

Our Location

We serve Atlanta’s 30329 district, a walkable area close to Emory University Hospital, Emory Decatur, and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA). Medical travelers often need predictable access to these facilities, and our units are chosen with that in mind. This is our home too!

What We Offer

• private, fully furnished housing
• utilities included (electricity, water, Wi-Fi)
• comfortable work-and-rest layout
• safe, calm environments suitable for long stays
• flexible mid-term housing for medical rotations and family support

Our Approach

We believe housing should reduce stress — not add to it. Every Yên Stays unit is intentionally curated for comfort and simplicity: soft lighting, neutral tones, reliable essentials, and a layout that instantly feels familiar.

Whether you’re arriving for a clinical rotation, supporting a loved one through treatment, or transitioning between homes, our goal is to give you a space that feels steady.

Our Name

“Yên” means peace and rest.
That is what we aim to provide.

Our Values

Yasmine, one of the founders of Yên Stays, brings over a decade of U.S. Army service to this work — including years as a signals intelligence analyst supporting missions across multiple deployments. That experience shaped the core values we operate by today: discipline, reliability, clear communication, and an unwavering commitment to taking care of people during uncertain times.

Military life teaches you to build stability wherever you are, to prepare for the unexpected, and to look after the people around you. Those same principles guide how we choose our units, how we support medical travelers, and how we show up for families who need a dependable place to land.

Yên Stays is built on service — both the kind learned in uniform and the kind passed down through family.
